bed head evolved into a bad hair day

So, the site and barn started out with bed head, and I thought it would be a gorgeous french twist bee-hive with foil highlights by the end of the day, but it seemed to have a bad hair day, all day. Excavation - again, went well, BUT dirt is SO INCONVENIENT. The painter put a first coat on (hello, he is SO NICE!), and the carpenters seemed to have a productive day, but it's not as tangible as usual.
